Fielding coach Yagnik to join Rajasthan Royals after testing COVID-19 negative

On August 12, the Rajasthan-based franchise had confirmed that Yagnik had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The players of the Rajasthan Royals arrived in Dubai on August 20 and began their six-day quarantine period. The 2020 IPL is slated to take place from September 19 to November 10 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Rajasthan Royals fielding coach Dishant Yagnik tests positive for COVID-19

Dishant Yagnik, the fielding coach of Indian Premier League side Rajasthan Royals, on Wednesday (August 12) said that he has tested positive for coronavirus COVID-19. Yagnik took to Twitter to announce the news and urged everyone who had been in contact with him to get tested. Yagnik will now have to remain in quarantine for 14 days and will have to test negative twice before being allowed to fly out of India to join the Royals squad in UAE.
