Hamilton contract talks delayed after COVID-19 diagnosis, says Mercedes boss

The Briton has already wrapped up a seventh world title but is out of contract at the end of the year. After winning the championship at last month’s Turkish GP, Hamilton indicated negotiations would step up over F1’s season-ending Middle Eastern triple header. It is unclear whether Hamilton, who Wolff said had mild symptoms, will race in next week’s Abu Dhabi season finale.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen grabs pole position for Brazilian Grand Prix

Verstappen, who clocked the fastest lap of 1:07.508 in the third round of qualifying, was just 0.123 seconds quicker than four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel to secure only the second pole position of his career.
