One agency can investigate if there's common thread, says SC
The Supreme Court said on Tuesday that if there is a "common thread" among the murders of social activists Narendra Dabholkar, Govind Pansare, journalist Gauri Lankesh and rationalist M M Kalburgi, then one agency can investigate all the four cases.

Kolhapur Court has granted bail to Virendra Tawde, the main accused in rationalist Govind Pansare murder case. He had been lodged in jail since 2016 after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had filed a chargesheet in the case naming him as the key conspirator in the case.
