Davis Cup 2021: Germany thrash Great Britain, advances to semi-finals

The German pair Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz defeated British teammates Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski 7-6 (10), 7-6 (5) after the best-of-three tie was level following the two singles to book a spot in the semi-finals of the Davis Cup 2021.

Germany's Kevin Krawietz, Andreas Mies retain French Open doubles title

German duo Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies beat Croatian Mate Pavic and Brazilian Bruno Soares 6-3, 7-5 to retain their French Open doubles crown. A year after becoming the first all-German team to capture a Grand Slam men`s doubles trophy in the professional era, they again shone on the Parisian clay, winning in 89 minutes. Eighth seeds Krawietz and Mies were clinical against the U.S. Open champions, breaking once in each set to become only the fourth team to win back-to-back French Open titles.
