NPS: Get Rs 50,000 monthly pension after retirement, here’s how

Previously, only government employees were eligible for this programme. Any Indian citizen can benefit from this new pension system if they meet certain criteria. If the annuity rate is 6% at the time, you will receive a monthly pension of around Rs 50,000.

Now central govt pensioners will get pension slips via WhatsApp, email

The registered mobile number of the pensioners will be used to send the digital pension slips, the government order said. It further mentioned that this order ensures ‘Ease of Living' of the Pensioners, wherein the issue of providing the breakup of monthly pension to the pensioners was discussed.
