Diwali 2022: Dos and don'ts to follow this Lakshmi Pujan day

According to Drik Panchang, the auspicious time period to perform Diwali Puja for this year is from 6:53 PM to 8:16 PM. As per the tradition, Diwali Puja should be performed during Pradosh Kaal, which begins at 5:43 PM and concludes at 8:16 PM on Monday.

Holika Dahan 2018: In Pictures

Holika Dahan is a ritual performed on the eve of Holi. People in the neighbourhood collectively organise a bonfire (referred to as the Holika Dahan) to mark the victory of good over the evil. The Dahan is usually performed during the Pradosh Kaal (which starts post sunset) while Purnimasi Tithi prevails.
