Multi-device support will allow users to use their account on more than a single device. WhatsApp will soon roll out multi-device support for desktop and web beta users. The WhatsApp multi-device support will allow users to link devices without an active internet connection on the primary device.

THIS WhatsApp feature will not allow users to delete chats from linked devices

As per the report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp from now on will not allow users to delete chats from linked devices and when a user tries to delete or deletes a chat from the linked devices, it will fail as the messages will not get deleted from other linked devices. Besides that, the messaging platform will not give any option to users to choose if they want to delete the chat from other linked devices. This linked message feature is still under development and will soon be launched.

A new feature that will be part of this multi-device support has now been spotted. The video demonstration of the new feature shows the replacement of the ‘delete account’ option on the linked devices interface on WhatsApp. In terms of its usage, this feature will essentially let users log out from the different devices their WhatsApp account is connected to.
