Girl raped by self-styled godman in Sitapur; case registered

Sitapur: A self-styled godman has been accused of raping a teenager in the Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh.

According to ANI, the Sitapur police has filed a rape case against the godman on the basis of a complaint filed by the victim.

In her complaint, the victim has accused 'baba' Siya Ram Das and two other people of raping her.

Das has been brought in for questioning and a probe into the matter is underway, SSP of Sitapur said.
