Usher was planning duet with Winehouse before her death

Washington: Usher has revealed that he had been plotting a duet with Amy Winehouse in the weeks before her untimely death last summer.The R and B singer said that he had approached her producer Salaam Remi about working with Winehouse, but wasn``t able to find time to hit the studio with her.

“There was (sic) few a conversations that took place, but we never quite made it to it. I would have loved it,” Contactmusic quoted the singer as telling Mtv news. “It could have been one of the most incredible records ever. A voice like that comes once in a lifetime,” he said. The singer admitted that he had met Winehouse once and really liked her. “We talked and exchanged information and I invited her to a show and she didn``t come,” he said. ANI
