Navratri special recipe: Learn how to make yummy Jeera Aloo at home

Ingredients

Take 4 to 5 potatoes (depending upon the servings)
Boil the potatoes, peel them, cut into small pieces
1 tablespoon cumin seeds (jeera)
Chopped coriander leaves
2 chopped green chillies
1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder 
1/2 tablespoon red chili powder 
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
About 2 tablespoon cooking oil
Sendha namak/rock salt for taste (used during Navratris)

Method

Firstly, heat the cooking oil in a pan, and then add some cumin seeds into it.
Once it turns browner, add some green chilies into it. Stir it for some time, then add the boiled potatoes in it.
Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and sendha namak.
Sauté for 5 minutes.
Mix the lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves.
Let it cook for some time at a simmer.


Your dish is ready. Enjoy your healthy Navratri meal.
