New Delhi: Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai has come up with an online service which allows a patient to know whether he is suffering from cancer or not.

If the patient is suffering from the condition, the service will also furnish details about the stage of cancer he/she is in.

Tata hospital sees at least 70,000 people in a year who visit the premises for cancer treatment from different parts of the country.

For reducing the influx of patients in the hospital and cut down the struggle which a patient and the family has to undergo while seeking treatment, this step has been taken.

This initiative is a boon especially for the poor people, who face difficulty in accessing medical aid and do not have free access to medical facilities.

Once a person sends his/her required reports on the website, the hospital authorities reverts in a day with the results. Reports can also be send through WhatsApp.
