Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu appealed to the Opposition that issues of national concerns should be allowed to be discussed in the Parliament.

“Important issues like terrorist attack in Punjab were raised in the House but Opposition went into the well of the House to continue with their protest when they should have joined the discussion and given suggestion. In such matters, there should not be any politics but everyone should speak in one voice. This is my appeal to the opposition,” he said while speaking to reporters outside Parliament.

Former union cabinet minister and Deputy Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Anand Sharma, condemned the loss of lives in the Gurdaspur's terror attack incident and said that it has raised question on the intention of Pakistan. He added that the incidences of raising Pakistani flags on Indian soil will not be tolerated and that no strict action regarding the incident has been taken, the ANI reported.
