Engineer among 3 officials held for taking bribe

Patna: An executive engineer and two other
officials of building construction department were arrested by
vigilance officials for allegedly taking bribe at Kishnaganj
town on Tuesday.

The engineer, Krishnakant Kumar, cashier Ranjit Singh
and head clerk Shatrughan Prasad were caught red-handed while
accepting bribe of Rs 20,000, Rs 14,000, Rs 1,000
respectively, vigilance sources said here.

The accused officials had been brought here for
interrogation.
