AAP dissolves Bareilly city unit

The Aam Aadmi Party has dissolved its Bareilly city unit following complaint of demand of donation for the party`s "Jhadu Yatra". The action was taken by AAP zone secretary Dileep Nagina after an office-bearer allegedly sought donation from senior lawyer Ravindra Kumar Raizada, an aspiring party candidate from the Lok Sabha constituency.

Bareilly: The Aam Aadmi Party has dissolved its Bareilly city unit following complaint of demand of donation for the party`s "Jhadu Yatra". The action was taken by AAP zone secretary Dileep Nagina after an office-bearer allegedly sought donation from senior lawyer Ravindra Kumar Raizada, an aspiring party candidate from the Lok Sabha constituency.
Raizada said he had informed the AAP leadership that he was no longer willing to contest on its ticket and had forwarded the office-bearer`s SMS demanding Rs 20,000 donation from him for the yatra.
Nagina, however, said if the office-bearer would be expelled from the party if the charges were found true.
