Delhi polls: Kiran Bedi meets Vajpayee and Advani, seeks blessings

BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi on Friday called on party patriarchs Atal Bihari Vajpayee and L K Advani and sought their blessings for the upcoming Delhi Assembly polls.

New Delhi: BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi on Friday called on party patriarchs Atal Bihari Vajpayee and L K Advani and sought their blessings for the upcoming Delhi Assembly polls.

"I went to seek blessings from them. Advaniji blessed me and asked me to work hard," Bedi said later.

Reposing faith in Bedi, Advani said, "I am fully confident that we shall win Delhi elections under her leadership and she will give a new direction to Delhi."

Later in the evening, Bedi met another party leader and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.

Earlier in the day, she had campaigned in Krishna Nagar constituency from where she is contesting. Bedi will also hold 70 rallies across Delhi.
