Population of wild animals increasing in Ranthambhore

Jaipur, Mar 03: As many as 43 tigers were present in the Ramthambhore tiger project during wild life census conducted last year, state assembly was informed today.

Jaipur, Mar 03: As many as 43 tigers were present in the Ramthambhore tiger project during wild life census conducted last year, state assembly was informed today.
The population of wild animals was found to be increasing in every census conducted in the project area, declared as national park, in the last five years, forest minister Bina Kak told the house in a written reply.

Giving details of wild animals enumerated in the 2002 census, the minister said the park had 87 panthers, 119 bear, 6566 spotted antelope and 9621 Indian antelope besides other animals.
