Jammu: A policeman was washed away in
flash floods in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, police
said Monday.
Police constable Patdev Singh was crossing the river
Ujh in Kathua district when flash floods triggered by rains
washed him away yesterday, they said.
His body was later recovered from the river.
In another case, Jito Devi was killed when her house
collapsed in Bishnah area of Jammu district while his husband
Rattan Lal injured, they said.
