Ranchi,: Upset over denial of ticket for the upcoming Assembly elections in Jharkhand, BJP's Raj Mahal MLA Arun Mandal today joined RJD.
RJD's Godda MLA Sanjay Prasad Yadav accorded party membership to Mandal, RJD's Jharkhand unit spokesman Manoj Kumar said.
"RJD is a party of Dalits, minorities and other downtrodden people," Mandal said in his speech after joining the Lalu Prasad's party ahead of the five-phase Assembly election beginning November 25 in Jharkhand.
Some other politicians also joined the RJD on the occasion.
