Thiruvananthapuram: As counting of votes contonue for 140-member Kerala Assembly, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was leading in two seats.

BJP candidates O Rajagopal and Sobha Surendran were marginally ahead against their nearest rivals.

Trends indicated that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) will make an impressive comeback and Oommen Chandy led United Democratic Front will be shown the doors.

CPI (M) stalwart VS Achuthanandan was leading by 12000+ votes in Malampuzha assembly constituency.

CPI-M headed LDF in Kerala was leading in 89 of the 140 Assembly constituencies while ruling Congress-led UDF is ahead in 49, according to early trends after the first round of counting.

Commenting on the early trends, Congress leader PC Chacko says, it looks like will have to concede defeat in Kerala. He said if UDF loses, responsibility will be fixed.
