Ralegan Siddhi: Social activist Anna Hazare on Wednesday said that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal should have completed his tenure as Delhi chief minister. Speaking to mediapersons, Anna, whom Kejriwal considers as his mentor, said that he had told his ex-colleague to complete his five-term stint as Delhi CM. “I had advised Kejriwal to govern the national capital and make it a model for the rest of the nation,” Anna said. Criticising the AAP for contesting the General Elections, Anna said that one needs to be patient to be successful in politics. Kejriwal was at the forefront during Anna`s Lokpal movement, which had awakened the nation against corruption. Former Delhi CM Kejriwal was yesterday taken to the same Tihar jail cell where his mentor Anna was kept after his arrest during the Lokpal movement in 2011. The AAP leader reached Tihar jail at 6:30 pm after he was arrested and remanded in judicial custody by a local court till May 23 after he refused to furnish a bail bond of Rs 10,000 in a defamation case filed by BJP leader Nitin Gadkari.
