"Don't look for spicy, juicy tales": EC

Krishnamurthy today ducked queries on the speculation about
the next Chief Election Commissioner, saying "don't look for
any spicy, juicy tales".

With speculation rife on who would be the next CEC after
J M Lyngdoh lays down office next month, reporters were all
set to shoot questions on it when a smiling Krishnamurthy said
he was prepared to field only general questions.

"At the appropriate time whatever happens will happen.
Don't look for any spicy, juicy tales", he said.

Murthy had arrived at the Sri Sankara College at nearby
Kalady for delivering the golden jubilee lecture.

Krishnamurthy was here on a two-day visit to hold
discussions with the state electoral officers.
