New Delhi: Former Union minister and
Congress leader Renuka Choudhary and expelled SP leader Jaya
Prada on Saturday denied having any links with Pune stud farm owner
Hasan Ali Khan, accused of stashing black money abroad, after
his associate Kashinath Tapuriah named them in his
interrogation.
Tapuriah, a Kolkata-based businessman and co-accused in
multi-crore money laundering case, had named several
politicians in his statements to Enforcement
Directorate.
Both Chowdhry and Jaya Prada refuted the allegations.
"I have never met him. He will have to prove how he
met me, when he met me," Choudhary said.
Actress-turned politician Jaya Prada also said she
doesn`t recognise Hasan Ali, though she might have met but she
doesn`t know.
"I am an artist, I travel around the world. I meet
many fans. I do not recognise him. I might have met him but I
do not know him," she said.
