Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi`s
home-maker wife Dolly Gogoi has assets worth Rs 37,72,932
owning land, investments, jewellery, cash and a vehicle
according to the disclosure of assets by the council of
ministers dependents on Wednesday.
Dolly Gogoi owns fixed assets of two plots of land in
Guwahati worth Rs 13,36,062 (Rs 4,52,000 and 3,40,810) and a
Rs 5,43,252 Swift ZXI car of as per the detailed statement of
affairs disclosed in the official website of the Assam
government.
She has investments of NSC (face value) of Rs 1,50,000 and
Rs 16,22,367 investment in shares, besides jewelery worth Rs
1,24,650, bank accounts with Rs 5,29,868 and Rs 9,985 in hand.
The chief minister`s wife, however, has a loan burden of
Rs 100,000 from non banking financial companies (NBFC) as per
the disclosure.
Tarun Gogoi had earlier on January 15 last disclosed that
he has total assets of Rs 54,08,230 owning a Rs 31,59,352
residential flat in Delhi, a Rs 15,98,400 residential land and
building and Rs 1,05,000 residential plot in Guwahati.
Besides a Rs 8,65,992 Honda City car, he has investments
of Rs 4,50,000 in NSC, Rs 17,84,003 in bank accounts and Rs
14,848 in hand, according to his statement of affairs.
The chief minister has taken a loan of Rs 41,866 from the
state government and his current liabilities are Rs 1,68,891
to Ethnic Travel Guwahati and Rs 16,07,355 advance against
sale of floor.
