Family of B`desh actress portraying Malala fears Taliban attack

The family of B`deshi girl who is portraying Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai insists that no photos be released until midway, fearing Taliban attacks.

Washington: The family of a 16-year-oldBangladeshi girl who is playing the role of Pakistani teen activist Malala Yousafzai in a new film have insisted that no photos of the girl be released until midway through filming, in fear of revenge attacks by the Taliban.

Indian director Amjad Khan chose amateur actress Fatima Sheikh to play the role of Malala in an upcoming biopic, which chronicles her story, reports the Washington Times.

The only picture to be released of the actress shows only a glimpse of her eyes.
Malala, 14, was shot by the Taliban in October last year for advocating girls` right to education in Pakistan`s Swat Valley. She first gained notice after she began writing about the atrocities of theTaliban for the BBC under the name " Gul Makai".

The film will be shot in London, Pakistan, Iran and India.
