Danish cartoonist back home after possible threat

He has been repeatedly threatened since a 2005 Danish newspaper published cartoons of Muhammad, including one by him.

Oslo: A Danish cartoonist who caricatured
Islam`s Prophet Muhammad says he`s back home from Norway after
receiving information from police there that "worried" him.

Kurt Westergaard declined today to give details,
including whether police passed along a security threat.

But the 76-year-old has been repeatedly threatened since
a 2005 Danish newspaper published cartoons of Muhammad,
including one by him, that triggered protests in Muslim
countries.

Norwegian police declined comment except to say
Westergaard had been in Oslo yesterday.

Earlier, Norwegian media said he had suffered a heart
attack and couldn`t attend a Tuesday book launch in Oslo. In
Denmark, Westergaard said that story was "the official
version" and that he`s fine.
