Anushka Sharma's message for husband Virat Kohli will give you marriage goals

Mumbai: Anushka Sharma who turned 30 on Tuesday, took to Twitter to thank her husband Virat Kohli for making it her best birthday. It was Anushka's first birthday celebration as Mrs Virat Kohli.

Her post read: "Best birthday with the bestest, kindest, bravest man in the world. Love you for making it so special my love! (sic)."

Earlier on Tuesday, Virat shared a beautiful post on his social media handles to wish his ladylove a very Happy birthday.

He wrote: "Happy B'day my love. The most positive and honest person I know. Love you (sic)."

Anushka and Virat tied the nuptial knot on December 11, 2017, in Tuscany, Italy in a hush-hush ceremony attended by family and close friends.

They announced their marriage by issuing a joint statement on the day of their wedding and thereby surprised fans and well-wishers.

The statement read: “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.(sic).

After returning to Indian from their short honeymoon in December 2017, the two hosted receptions in Delhi and Mumbai for their friends and colleagues from the world of cricket and Bollywood.

India's national cricket team's captain Virat, who also leads a franchise for a league, lead his Bangalore team to victory in last night's match against Mumbai. He said that the win was a small gift to his wife on her birthday.
