New Delhi: NASA's discovery of what seems like a whole new 'solar system' on Wednesday has the world's space enthusiasts in a tizzy.
The seven Earth-like planets orbiting a small star in a far away galaxy has turned out to be one of the most promising hunting grounds so far for life beyond our solar system.
According to NASA, the discovery sets a new record for greatest number of habitable-zone planets found around a single star outside our solar system.
Well, looks like Google couldn't hide its excitement on the news either, since it immediately came out with an interactive exoplanet doodle!
The rare late-day, special doodle shows planet Earth looking through NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope and spotting the star and the seven Earth-like planets.
