Over three-fourth of total COVID19 cases recovered in India in past 5 months

The Ministry believes that the implementation of Centre's strategic and graded TEST-TRACK-TREAT approach has brought this positive development in India. Active COVID-19 cases in India stands at 7,25,991, while 25,23,771 people have recovered. The cumulative toll has reached 60,472 deaths. Delhi has a recovery rate of 90 percent highest of all the state followed by Tamil Nadu with 85 percent.

COVID-19 recovery rate in 21 States/UTs higher than national average of 60.77%

Chandigarh tops the list with a recovery rate of 85.9% followed by Ladakh at 82.2% and Uttarakhand at 80.9%.
