NIA seizes incriminating materials during raids in multiple locations in J&K

The National Investigation Agency tightened its noose in the suspended Deputy Superintendent (DSP) Davinder Singh and Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Naveed Babu case. The NIA on Tuesday carried out searches across multiple locations in Jammu and Kashmir. The NIA seized several incriminating documents and digital devices during its searches in at multiple locations in Baramulla district's Uri and one location in Srinagar.

DSP Davinder Singh case: NIA raids in J&K, looks for Hizbul Mujahideen links

NIA is looking for financial links between former DSP Davinder Singh and Pakistan-based terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen. The probe agency had claimed that its probe had revealed that the accused were participants in a deep-rooted conspiracy to commit violent acts against India.

Delhi court sends accused in J-K DSP terrorist links case to police custody

Additional Sessions Judge Dharmendra Rana on Thursday granted the remand, allowing Delhi Police to question the accused Imran Shafi Mir. The accused was arrested the same day.
