Powerful earthquake strikes northeastern Japan kills 4, more than 90 injured
A powerful 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Fukushima in northern Japan on Wednesday night. A small tsunami reached shore, but the low-risk advisory was lifted by Thursday morning.

Earthquakes struck Japan's Fukushima Prefecture and Indonesia's Sumatra island
The quake logged 4 in some parts of Fukushima Prefecture on the Japanese seismic intensity scale which peaks at 7. So far no tsunami warning has been issued. According to the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ), the quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles) in Indonesia.
