NASA congratulates Indian astronomers on discovery of Star Galaxy
NASA hailed the discovery by Indian astronomers as an effort that will further enable humankind`s understanding. India`s AstroSat/UVIT was able to achieve this unique feat because the background noise is much less than NASA's Hubble Space Telescope.

Indian astronomers see extreme-UV light from galaxy billion light-years away
The galaxy called AUDFs01 was discovered by a team of Astronomers led by Dr Kanak Saha from the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics(IUCAA) Pune. India's AstroSat/UVIT was reportedly able to achieve this unique feat because the background noise in the UVIT detector is much less than one on the Hubble Space Telescope of US-based NASA.

Indian astronomers trace mystery behind dwarf galaxy aberrations
Most of these tiny tots called dwarf galaxies form stars at a much slower rate than the massive ones Some dwarf galaxies are seen forming new stars at a mass-normalized rate 10-100 times more than that of the Milky-way galaxy These activities, however, do not last longer than a few tens of million-years, a period which is much shorter than the age of these galaxies
