EPFO Adds 19.29 Lakh Members In June As Employment Rises
The payroll data also highlights that approximately 14.15 lakh members exited and subsequently rejoined EPFO. This figure depicts year-over-year growth of 11.79 per cent compared to June 2023.

EPFO adds 14.12 lakh net subscribers in February 2022
The month-on-month comparison of payroll data reflects a slight increase of 31,826 net subscribers in Feb. On a year-on-year comparison, February 2022 saw an increase of 1,74,314. The age-group of 18-25 years constitutes around 45 per cent of total net enrolments during the month.

Government announces additional benefits under EPFO, ESIC schemes
Enhanced social security is sought to be provided to the workers without any additional cost to the employer, it added. First condition is that the IP must have been registered on the ESIC online portal at least three months prior to the diagnosis of COVID disease resulting in death. Secondly, the IP must have been employed for wages and contributions for at least 78 days should have been paid or payable in respect of deceased IP during a period of one year immediately preceding the diagnosis of COVID disease resulting in death.
