Lipstick Under My Burkha: Latest Box Office collection of Konkona Sen Sharma starrer out

New Delhi: Even in its second week, Bollywood filmmaker Alankrita Shrivastava's latest movie 'Lipstick Under My Burkha' has continued to rake in moolah at the Box Office. The total collections of the Konkona Sen Sharma starrer have now reportedly crossed the Rs 15 crore mark.

It is being said that the controversial piece of cinema minted Rs 64 lakh on Monday. Movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh on Tuesday took to Twitter to confirm the same.

"#LipstickUnderMyBurkha [Week 2] Fri 94 lakhs, Sat 1.37 cr, Sun 1.45 cr, Mon 64 lakhs. Total: ₹ 15.36 cr. India biz," he tweeted. The flick still has a few days to perform at BO before superstar Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jan Harry Met Sejal' takes over the cinemas.

'Lipstick Under My Burkha' also features Ratna Pathak, Aahana Kumra and Plabita Borthakur in lead roles. The film struggled for certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) earlier this year over its sexual scenes and dialogues loaded with expletives.
