Shraddha Kapoor joins Shahid Kapoor in 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu'

New Delhi: Talented actor Shahid Kapoor's next venture Batti Gul Meter Chalu will see him reunite with Haider co-star Shraddha Kapoor. The actress has joined the cast of the film which also stars Yami Gautam in the lead role.

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and confirmed Shraddha's name. He tweeted:

Batti Gul Meter Chalu is being helmed by Toilet: Ek Prem Katha director Shree Narayan Singh and will be produced by KriArj Entertainment. A few days back, Sasha welcomed his another co-star Yami on board and tweeted about it:

The trio of Yami, Shraddha and Shahid will be seen first time together on the big screens. After the success of his previous venture 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, all eyes will be set on the next directorial venture of Shree Narayan Singh.

Like his previous outing, the filmmaker has addressed yet another issue which a common man faces every day. The film is likely to bring forth the problem of electricity bills and how it affects the daily life.
