Russell Brand steps out without wedding ring

London: Funnyman Russell Brand has stepped out without his wedding ring after spending Christmas 7,000 miles apart from wife Katy Perry.

The 36-year-old actor-and-comedian spent Christmas apart from wife, who he married in India in October 2010, after the couple reportedly had a "massive fight". Brand was spotted shopping in London with his diamond band noticeably absent, reported Daily Mail online. Brand happily chatted with fans and even posed for a photograph with one female admirer during the solo shopping trip, sparking further speculation of marriage trouble between him and Perry. Meanwhile, the `Last Friday Night` singer, Perry, who spent Christmas in Hawaii, while her husband was in Cornwall, South West England, has also been seen without her wedding band as she soaked up the sun on her vacation. The pair had planned to spend the festive season with Brand`s mother Barbara in London before they became involved in a furious argument, and Perry decided to jet off to Hawaii with friends. "They haven`t split up just yet, but things are not good. The fighting is getting worse," a source said. PTI
