Mahesh Bhatt is playing Aditya’s ‘invisible’ father in `Aashiqui 2`

New Delhi: Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has lent his voice to his forthcoming production venture ‘Aashiqui 2’.

According to the reports, Bhatt is playing Aditya Roy Kapoor`s father. He will not make an appearance in the film, but will be heard communicating with Aditya on phone. "I play Aditya`s father. But I am not acting in the film. You won`t see me. I have given my voice for two scenes. He has a phone conversation with his father and my voice can be heard," Bhatt said in a statement. Bhatt, who has produced the film, had directed the original ‘Aashiqui’ in 1990. Directed by Mohit Suri, ‘Aashiqui 2’ also stars Shradha Kapoor. A co-production of T-Series and Vishesh Films, the musical drama is scheduled to release April 26. IANS
