Banks to remain closed for 5 straight days; take out cash before ATMs dry up

New Delhi: Banks will remain closed for the five consecutive days in most part of the country between October 8 and October 12, thanks to the coinciding dates of the list of holidays.

Owing to this long closure, some banking services might be affected. ATM users might have to be a little cautious as ATMs usually run out of cash within two days after cash infusion.

However, banks have ensured that the ATMs will be refilled at regular intervals during the leave period.

If you want to get regular services like cheque clearance, cash deposits done, must ensure that you complete them by Friday.

October 8: Second Saturday

October 9: Sunday

October 10: Navami

October 11: Dussehra

October 12: Muharram
