New Delhi: ‘Bombay Talkies’, which is already in the headlines being a productive effort of four brilliant filmmakers Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Dibakar Banerjee, has reportedly signed in Aamir Khan for one of its segment. According to a leading daily, the Bollywood perfectionist, who is said to be very particular when it comes to signing a project, has been roped in by producer Ashi Dua for ‘Bombay Talkies’ which celebrates 100 years of Indian cinema. aaTalking to the daily, a source said, “Getting Aamir Khan on board was a last-minute decision. Considering his contribution to our cinema and the occasion of the Bombay Talkies Project, we felt his presence was a must. He was our best-kept secret, until now.” "Ashi has worked for many years to put this project together. When she pitched her idea to Aamir at his office, he readily agreed to be a part of it," the source added. The movie, which comprises of four short films, is all set to release on May 3, 2013.
