Zee Arab lines up classics to mark 100 Years of Indian Cinema

Dubai: Zee Aflam, the Pan-Arab 24-hour Bollywood film channel, is paying homage to Bollywood`s 100-year old legacy with a bevy of hits spanning timeless classics and recent blockbusters.

Featuring works by the legendary Raj Kapoor, all the way to his grandson Ranbir Kapoor, Zee Aflam will pay a tribute to the revolutionary development of India`s film industry. During the month of May, 31 movies featuring A-list stars will mark their on-screen appearance, with the dubbed and subtitled slots airing seven days a week. The tribute line-up includes blockbuster films such as: Raj Kapoor`s `Mera Naam Joker`, Ambitabh Bachchan`s `Coolie`, Dilip Kumar`s `Ram Aur Shyam`, `Abhishek Bachchan`s `Players` and Ranbir Kapoor`s `Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year`. Zee Aflam is available to audiences in Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Arab world on Nilesat and Arabsat. PTI
