Brooke Shields wanted to lose virginity to George Michael

Melbourne: Brook Shields hoped to lose her virginity to her then boyfriend George Michael, who later revealed that he was gay, it has been revealed.

Shields, who proudly confessed to being a virgin in her autobiography ‘On Your Own,’ was dating the 49-year-old British singer, who had shot to fame with duo Wham! “My clothes were practically falling off me,” the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying on the chat show ‘The Talk``, when ‘Careless Whisper’ singer told his driver to go around the block as he was taking her home. Sadly, it was not meant to be for the former wife of tennis star Andre Agassi, who also dated John Travolta and the late Michael Jackson. Michael, who has since revealed that he was gay when he was arrested in 1998 for “engaging in a lewd act” in a public toilet in a park in Beverly Hills, California, ended the relationship, insisting that he needed to concentrate on his music. The actress remained a virgin until the age of 22, a fact that the now 47-year-old actress has said she regrets. “I wish I had just gotten it over with in the beginning when it was sort of OK,” she told Health magazine.
