IFFI 2015 to pay homage to K Balachander, Ravindra Jain

New Delhi: Noted filmmaker K Balachander, music composers Ravindra Jain and Aadesh Shrivastava will be honoured with a special tribute at the 46th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) to be held in Goa from November 20 to 30.

As per the festival tradition, IFFI pays tribute to noted film personalities who passed away in the year preceding the festival.

Actors Deven Verma, Manorama and Indra Bania; producer Eddida Nageshwar Rao and D Ramanaidu; music composer MS Vishwanathan; film directors Nirad Mohapatra from (Odissa) and

Bidyut Chakravarty (Assam), will also be remembered during the special event.

In the 'Homage' section, IFFI invites the family members, friends and well-wishers of the personalities to attend the screenings of the artists' best work.
