Ghaziabad: Police have arrested an alleged arms supplier in connection with the murder case of an RSS worker in Ludhiana after a four-day manhunt.

Malook, identified by a single name, was arrested from the Delhi-Ghaziabad border. He is accused of supplying arms for killing RSS worker Ravindra Gosain in Ludhiana on October 17.

"We had information that Malook will be coming to Seema Puri. A team was already tasked to nab him. Moments later we arrested him," India Today quoted senior Ghaziabad SP Harinarayan Singh as saying.

Earlier, a joint team of the NIA and the Uttar Pradesh was attacked by a mob when it raided a place following a tip-off on his whereabouts. Following the assault, several police teams were formed to nab the accused.

Hardeep Singh, alias Shera, is the main accused in the case and currently in NIA custody. His associate and co-accused Ramandeep Singh is also in custody.
