Girl from Mysuru sets new world record, performs tough yogasana 15 times in a minute

Khushi set new rocord on Sunday, June 11, at an event held at Community hall of Mysuru's RBI Nagar in presence of Golden Book Of records representative.

New Delhi: A 13-year-old girl from Mysuru has achieved a rare feat by performing a tough yogasana - Niralamaba Purna Chakrasana -15 times in a minute.

H Khushi, daughter of RBI officer Hemachandra, set new record on Sunday, June 11, at an event held at Community hall of Mysuru's RBI Nagar in presence of Golden Book Of records representative.

She performed Back Plank Recline Cruncher under Yogic Posture to enter record book.

On Sunday afternoon, she received a certificate from Santhosh Agarwal, a representative of Golden Book of World Records organisation.

Khushi, who performed Back Plank Recline Cruncher and Yogic Posture to enter record book, won silver in international Yoga competition for below 17 years' category in China in 201.

In 2016, she also won two golds (solo artistic and rhythmic pair), two silvers in four events in Vietnam.

Khushi is a student of 9th standard at St Joseph's Central School in Vijayanagar.
