IAS Puja Khedkar's Mother Seen Arguing With Pune Metro Workers In New Viral Video - Watch

A new video has surfaced showing Puja Khedkar's mother arguing with Metro rail workers in Pune. This comes shortly after another clip went viral where she was seen threatening a group of men with a gun. In the video, Manorama Khedkar is arguing with the Metro construction workers while police are present. The exact date of the 27-second clip isn't known yet. Following the previous viral video of her with the gun, Pune Rural police announced they would investigate, including checking if she had a gun license.

The incident in the video revolves around a land parcel bought by Puja's father, a retired Maharashtra government officer, in Dhadwali village in Pune's Mulshi tehsil. According to officials, locals accused the Khedkars of encroaching on neighbouring farmers' land. The two-minute video shows Manorama Khedkar, accompanied by her security guards, having a heated argument with neighbours. She's seen shouting at a man with a pistol in her hand, waving it in his face, and then hiding it again.

Who Is Puja Khedkar?

Puja Khedkar, a 2023-batch IAS officer, has been accused of falsely claiming to be an OBC non-creamy layer candidate for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). She also claimed to be visually and mentally disabled, but refused to take any tests to back up her claims. She rose to prominence after reports surfaced about her alleged demands for a separate office and official car, as well as the unauthorized use of a beacon on her private car while stationed in Pune. She was then transferred from Pune to Washim.

However, the government put the controversial IAS officer's district training programme on hold on Tuesday after she was summoned back to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, for "necessary action". A letter by Maharashtra additional chief secretary Nitin Gadre said the academy had decided to put her district training programme on hold, and immediately recalled her.
