Srinagar: Yet another ceasefire violation by the Pakistani troops has been reported from Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district on Tuesday.
According to ANI, the Pakistani forces initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of arms in Bhimber Gali sector of Rajouri district.
The firing began today afternoon and the Indian Army is responding effectively to the violation.
This is the third such violation in Bhimber Gali sector of Rajouri from Pakistan side.
Defence Ministry sources today told ANI that Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked firing in Balakot sector in Poonch district, using small arms, automatics and mortars to target Indian positions.
"The Pakistani shelling and firing started at 3.30 p.m.," an official said. "The Indian Army posts are effectively and strongly retaliating. Firing is still going on."
In an another incident, the Pakistani army started heavy shelling in Poonch district of the state.
