Guru Purnima 2021 - ಗುರು ಪೌರ್ಣಿಮೆ ಉತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ಸಡಗರದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಪೌರ್ಣಿಮೆಗೆ ಸನಾತನ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರೂ, ಆಷಾಡ ತಿಂಗಳ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುವ ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರು ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮಾ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ದಿನ ಮಹರ್ಷಿ ವೇದವ್ಯಾಸ್ (Maharshi Vedavyas) ಜಿ ಜನಿಸಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
