A day after registering a historic win in the Assembly polls, Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi's next chief minister Arvind Kejriwal will meet President Pranab Mukherjee Wednesday evening.

4:30 pm: Anna Hazare says he will not attend Arvind Kejriwal's swearing-in ceremony. However, the social activist maintained that if the AAP chief invited him for tea, he would graciously accept it.
While congratulating his former team member Kejriwal, Hazare says people voted for AAP as BJP failed to fulfil its poll promises.
Delhi polls debacle is Narendra Modi's defeat and not Kiran Bedi's, Hazare adds.

Sisodia says we requested for Centre's assistance in carrying forward work of regularisation of unauthorised colonies and the demand of full statehood for Delhi be fulfilled. We also asked him for assistance in setting up more colleges, schools and parking space.
Naidu has assured Centre's full cooperation to AAP government for the development of Delhi, Sisodia says.

The AAP on Tuesday scored scored a landslide victory in Delhi, delivering to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) its first defeat since its historic Lok Sabha triumph and reducing the Congress, which ruled the capital for 15 years till 2013, to a virtual nonentity.
In the 70-member Delhi Assembly, the Kejriwal-led political outfit won 67 seats, BJP managed only 3 and the Congress failed to open its account.
8:45 am: The AAP leader is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. AAP leader Manish Sisodia Tuesday confirmed that Kejriwal is meeting the PM on Wednesday.
PM Modi had telephoned Kejriwal and congratulated him for party's victory in Delhi Assembly Elections. While congratulating the AAP chief, the PM assured Centre's full support Centre to the Delhi government.
8:30 am: The AAP convenor is also expected to meet Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu to deliberate on steps to be taken for overall development of Delhi.
8:00 am: Kejriwal has also sought an appointment with Home Minister Rajnath Singh to discuss issues related to law and order in the national capital. The two leaders are expected to meet at 4:30 pm.
Singh congratulated the AAP chief for the stunning victory in the Delhi elections and assured him all help for the development of the national capital.
In an election that was billed by the opposition as a referendum on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the AAP tornado threw veterans of both BJP and Congress into the electoral dustbin in their traditional bastions. BJP leaders accepted the defeat as a "setback" but dismissed suggestions that it was a vote against the Modi government's performance.
BJP's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi, who was inducted into the party last minute to counter Kejriwal, lost from Krishna Nagar constituency, a seat held by the BJP since 1993.
The 46-year-old Kejriwal will take oath as chief minister at the Ramlila grounds on Feb 14 - the same date last year that Kejrwial resigned as chief minister, ending his 49-day stint heading the Delhi government.
