New Delhi: Environment, Forests and Climate Change Minister Prakash Javadekar Friday said his ministry would organise a "Chintan Shivir" or a platform for its officers to ideate and suggest measures geared towards "good" governance.

"Chintan Shivir is organised in order to enable young officers share their experiences," he told media persons here.

Set up in Bengaluru, Bhopal and Guwahati, the conference would see participation of scientists and officers from environment, forest, and pollution boards who would introspect and discuss about various aspects related to the ministry.

Laying out the specifics, the minister informed that the consultation camps would be organised in four theme-based sessions ranging from "How to ensure people's participation - suggestions and experiences", "My innovative experiments in my area of working", "Suggestion about changes in Laws and rules governing environment, forest, air, water, pollution", and "Suggested changes in our administrative processes to deliver good governance".

In a closed door event, each participant would speak and put forth suggestions that would be recorded for further action and implementation, said an official release.
