Arunachal to decentralise medicine procurement

Arunachal Pradesh Health and Family Welfare Minister Rajesh Tacho said that the state government has decided to decentralise medicine procurement to improve the health care delivery system.

While interacting with the officials of the community health centre (CHC) at Dirang in West Kameng district during his maiden visit on Sunday, the minister said that the state government had adopted zero tolerance policy for the health and education department, an official community informed here Monday.

Lauding the health functionaries led by senior medical officer S K Singh for their dedicated services to the people, he assured all possible solutions to the problems confronting the CHC.

The minister inspected every department of the hospital, the community added.
