New Delhi: BJP president Amit Shah has hit out hard at Rahul Gandhi and accused the Congress vice president of supporting anti-nationalist elements.

Chiding the Congress, Shah asks what is its definition of patriotism when Rahul Gandhi cannot differentiate between anti-state and nationalism.

Rahul Gandhi and colleagues going to JNU and supporting the students has proved that national interest is not in their agenda, Shah said.

“Has Rahul Gandhi lent his voice to separatists in the country? Does he want another partition of the country. Would it have been right for government not to have acted against anti-national elements? Are you supporting anti-nationalism?” Shah said.

“What happened in JNU can't be termed pro-nationalistic. Anti-national slogans raised in the University cannot be acceptable to Indians,” he added.
